“I have been organized for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, growing up in San Diego, I used to spend hours in my room rearranging my Sears French Provincial white and gold furniture. I loved to have an organized bedroom. I even had a drawer in my dresser dedicated to unfinished projects!
By junior high school, I was organizing our entire 1300 square-foot home. I used to create contests to encourage my family to help me, but I was the only one who wanted to organize and I ended up doing most of it myself.
Over the years I had a few different jobs such as executive secretary, daycare provider, insurance office manager… And the recurring theme with every job was that I was very organized!
I always knew that I loved rearranging things in homes. As a student at San Diego State University, I began as an interior design major… Only to discover that I had no artistic ability. I managed to earn a degree in Drama, but I really did not know what I wanted to be when I grew up.
Fast forward to 2009, when I was watching an episode of Oprah. On the show, there was a professional organizer helping a very dysfunctional family. I was mesmerized! What is this a real job? Can I have this job? I immediately began to search the Internet for information. It turned out, that yes!! — there were people just like me successfully enjoying careers in the world of professional organizing! I had found my dream job… And the job that I was meant to do!
My team and I look forward to bringing our passion for organization to you!”
